Over the weekend, I participated in the annual “Christmas in July” event hosted by Assembly Member Holly Mitchell in Los Angeles! I was honored to be there on behalf of Be A Star, to discuss with families how we can put an end to bullying in our schools.

The event was designed to give back to the children within the Los Angeles community ensuring that the focus on literacy, health and wellness occurs year round!

It was such an inspiring day, and I felt honored to be part of it. Along with the many booths and activities, we gave out free E-readers and bicycles to every family at the event!
