Eve Marie Torres entered the pro wrestling scene during a WWE held competition: The 2007 Diva Search. Eve was named one of the finalist that made the cut to move into the next round which consisted of 8 other lovely ladies competing for a chance to win the contest and be given a contract to become an official WWE Diva.
Eve Torres ended up winning the contest on October 29th, 2007 and becoming the newest Diva on the WWE Roster. On February 1st, 2008 just 4 Months after Eve was named the winner she debuted on WWE’s Smackdown Brand as an interviewer. Eve remained interviewing WWE’s top Superstars as well as participating in WWE held contests such as Halloween Costume Contest and many more. Eve made had her first televised match in a 16 Diva Tag Match during a live taping of RAW, unfortunately she did not get too physical but she was part of the match never the less.
A year after making her Smackdown debut Eve finally had her first televised one on one match against WWE Diva Michelle McCool. Although Eve did not win the match, she showed a lot of effort and athleticism to be considered a true diva. After her first match Eve has had quite a few matches involving fellow divas such as Layla, Michelle & Natalya. To most people that see Eve perform in the ring, they will tell you that she has definitely improved and has shown that she has what it takes to be a wrestler.
After a year and a half on Smackdown, Eve was traded to RAW in a surprised Diva trade from all three WWE brands. What can we expect now that Eve is on RAW? Stay tune monday nights on the USA network to check out what she may have in store for us.
